SANTORINI - GREECE

Santorini is one of the most scenic islands we have ever travelled to, there is nothing else quite like it. Full of coastal views, mulit-coloured cliffs, immaculate buildings, and amazing food; there is never a dull moment. The atmosphere of holiday lovers, good weather and romantic sunsets = perfection!
We first stayed at Altana Suites near Thira, situated on the highest point of the island. This coincided with the amazing rooftop pool, overlocking the local towns, and everlasting coastlines. Each morning we were greeted by staff, with an array of fresh produce from the local home grown farm. We highly recommend staying at Altana Suites to experience the Santorini WOW factor!
Our last four nights were spent at Perissa Beach, with shops and restaurants outside your doorstep. The beaches were full of comfy day beds, with endless fruit and drinks on offer.
For one day we booked a yacht trip, which we highly recommend you do! You can book through most tour companies, with day trips or the Santorini sunset trip. We booked the day trip, which included sailing through the various beaches, the opportunity to swim and local food for lunch.
Another option is to hire a car, and drive around the island. By doing this, you get to see more of the island, rather then just the tourist hot spots.
